EXT. BY AN ALLEYWAY
Josh and his sister heading home late at night after he picks her up from a party

Josh

Why do I have to get you from your party, you know how to get home.

Ruth

You think I liked having my brother coming like an hour early

Josh

I’m not missing the Inbetweener’s, just because I have to pick you up. Just be happy I came early rather than late. (Looks at watch) I should have recorded it!

Ruth

Stop stressing, we’ll get home on time, just take the shortcut down that little alley 

Josh

I don’t think we should go down an alleyway at this time.

Ruth

Don’t worry; I’ve been down here hundreds of times

They walk into the alleyway, a gunshot is heard.
INT. JOSH’S BEDROOM
Josh suddenly wakes up, shocked and slightly panting.
EXT. PARK
In the park, Josh is tossing a ball in the air while his friends are sitting on a bench, discussing Josh’s dream.

Friend #1

You’re seeing those dreams again? You need to see a psychiatrist.

Josh

Already saw one 2 years ago, remember.

Friend #2

And your dreams came back?

Josh

 Yeah…I just can’t stop seeing them. It’s been 2 years since she died.

Friend #2

2 years isn’t that long

Josh 

(sits down) It’s long enough

Friend #1

But if you do need to go to a psychiatrist, I’ll take you

They all laugh and Josh rolls his eyes. He looks back at his friend and notice their eyes have changed colours.

Josh

What the hell did you do to your eyes

Friend #2 leans forward to face Josh

Friend #2

What are you on about?

Josh gets up and looks at the people surrounding him; they all have strange eye colours

Friend #1

Josh, you ok?

Josh notices his sister in the background. His sister starts to walk away.

Friend #1

Josh! Are you blanking me?

Their eyes turn back to normal

Josh

Yeah, I’m fine. I’ll be right back

He follows his sister
EXT. In a secluded area of the park
In an empty area Josh and Ruth talk.

  Ruth

We don’t have much time so we need to talk quick

Josh

This isn’t real, you’re dead, im dreaming, right
Ruth

That’s sort of a long story…
Josh
Yeah. Two years long. Where the hell have you been all this time?

Ruth

I can’t explain everything right this minute but..(takes off sunglasses and reveals his strange eye colour)

Josh

Whats going on?! Why does everyone have strange eyes

Josh

I need some kind of answer, what is…

Ruth

I told, we don’t have much time and it isn't safe here. Ill explain on the way

Ruth drags Josh and they both leave. The suspicious men clearly appear. The leader signs to his workers to leave.
